Background

Zacke is a swedish hip-hop artist that has recently started making a name for himself on the swedish hip-hop scene. After many years working more or less underground, Zacke released his first full-length album in early 2010. The release has gained him a lot of positive attention from various newspapers and critics, he has made several appearances on national television and has steady rotation on the radio.

He has also enjoyed success collaborating with the swedish swingjazz/hip-hop group Movits!, and joined them as a supporting act on their U.S. tour in 2010.

Execution

With the release of his new album, Zacke also wanted to update his website. I had made his previous website as well, but that website was very static, and with little activity. He wanted a more dynamic website, and because of this we agreed on making the centerpiece of his new website a blog.

I decided to go with Wordpress for the blog. As I at the time was fairly new to Wordpress, I decided not to build a theme entirely from the ground up, but rather to borrow various elements from different themes to suit Zackes needs.
