Background

Reboot Media is a health lifestyle brand dedicated to get people healthy through consuming more fruits and vegetables. It is a free online service based on the Ning platform, where people interested in juicing as an option to lose weight, or just get healthy, will find a community of likeminded people to interact with and draw inspiration from.

Execution

As mentioned, Reboot is hosted on the Ning Network, which was not an option to change. Ning is very particular in how the sites are displayed, so skinning the Reboot site demanded a lot of creative CSS-hacking. to make it stand out and, well, not look so much as a Ning site.

Besides skinning the site, I was also responsible for all layout and all graphical production. I was also called upon as photographer for shooting fruits and vegetables, which proved to be a true challenge as well.
